TOP FIVE - Interdisziplinäre Fortbildung

08.05.2025 Luzern

Dear Colleagues,

Each year, five current topics are the focus of the TOP FIVE continuing education program. Our aim is to select both the topics and the speakers in a way that ensures they are highly relevant for physicians and pharmacists in everyday practice.

In 2025, we will focus, among other things, on new studies regarding beta-blockers and their significance, particularly after a heart attack. Patients often inquire about phytotherapeutic preparations – we will review the current evidence on this. Another common topic in medical practices and pharmacies is allergies, which is why one of the lectures will address drug allergies. Additionally, aspects of addiction medicine, such as morphine substitution, will be covered in another lecture. Not only during travel season, but also year-round, pharmacies and medical practices face numerous questions, which we will address in an update on current recommendations.

We are very pleased to have once again secured outstanding speakers who, as usual, will be available in the Speakers' Corner for an in-depth exchange with you.

We look forward to seeing you again in 2025!

Kind regards,

Prof. Dr. Dr. med. Thomas Rosemann
Director, Institute for General Medicine

Prof. Dr. med. Oliver Senn
