Commission on Laboratory Diagnostics (CLD)

The aim of the CLD is to represent the professional interests of the FAMH title holders in clinical immunology as well as the interests of the candidates for this title. In addition, she is interested in the concerns of the laboratory of the FMH title holders in allergology and clinical immunology.

The CLD is used for optimal clinical-immunological laboratory diagnostics according to evidence and the criteria of effectiveness, expediency and profitability. It regulates the training, further education and advanced training of the FAMH title holders in clinical immunology (specialist for clinical immunological analysis or specialist for laboratory medicine, main focus on clinical immunology) in accordance with the FAMH guidelines as well as the FMH title carriers with laboratory. In addition, the CLD is primarily interested in the requirements of quality assurance in clinical immunological laboratory diagnostics.
